My sister, the one that intro’s me to painting, had done mandalas for years. I wanted to try my hand at it a few months back, and then on vinyl records because why not, and man, these sell so quick and in packs of a few. I love winding down and using acrylic paint pens, figuring out the colors, and just making mistakes and using that to make another pattern. It is a great way to take a break between canvases. Here are some of my mandalas. All have been sold but a few.
