IWSG: Cha-cha-cha-CHANGES...

alexjcavanaugh.blogspot.com

AHHHH....yes.
Many people do it... they make change.
No, not breaking a $1 for some quarters... I mean life changes, dang it!!
Sorry. Blood pressure. Remember your blood pressure. (smoothes back hair)

Can you turn it to the 'blow my mind' setting??
As I was saying, some fab changes occurred in my world and I'm so thankful for them. Some very personal, some long overdue, and some right here on this blog. See? I'm now a Russian mafia girl in a shabby chic barn. But that's just my disguise in Hollywood, butch.

Some of the changes even caused stress triggers to go away.
Me?? Stress?? Blood pressure!! (sigh)

Just calling in my hourly calm down meds.
My most recent/favorite change happened between my writing bestie, Elizabeth Seckman, and I as we went over a few things for our collaboration. And BAM! it hit. A fresh spin on the plot. It was like Valley Girl OMG!! Best change LIKE EVA! And a change that makes me even more excited about our book.
How is this possible??

Here are 5 pics of CHA-CHA-CHA-CHANGES.
Which do you think applies most to you lately, and why???
I want DETAILS PEOPLE!! (including your bank account/routing numbers.....)

Can so relate to this. Everything in my life is changing and I have to reinvent myself. I just have to accept it.

Glad your changes are positive. Hoping mine will be too.

That first image is so disturbing. I will keep the rest of my thoughts about it to myself. *wink*

I like #4 best. Never change the goal, just the plans. Sounds like good things are happening. Keep it up!

Sounds like you're enjoying yourself! Change can be very good.

I'm always working on myself in the patience department. I have tons of patience in everything except with adults. I'm working on it. Congrats on your creative breakthrough.

Woohoo!!! :D

I'm doing #2. (No, not *going* #2. DOING #2.) I'm at a place in my life where I just have to bide my time. My personal life is what it is, and I just have to wait it out. Better times are coming.

And, no, you can't have my routing number. I'll give you my bra size, though. Will that satisfy your TMI craving? :P

IWSG #179 until Alex culls the list again.

But ... I like breaking dollars into quarters ...

I'm running with #4. The goal is always there. The approach has thousands of possibilities. :)

I'll take door number three please.

See? I done told ya and told ya...relax and the plot will come. You can never force a plot. Just tinker until the characters start talking, then be ready to be bossed around.

Hugs mafia chicness!

I can relate to #1, not that I can accept the past, but it is what it is. ;-)

change the plan and not the goal, wise advice indeed. All I changed recently was my underwear? that count? lol

#2 is where I am now. I'm going through some not so good times and I am being patient with the belief that things will change for the better soon. I can only hope.

Glad that your changes were good. Change is the only constant. My grandma used to say 'it is the artful duty of a woman to adapt gracefully' I've found that true. Things change whether or not I want them to, It will just be more pleasant if I can adapt gracefully rather than kicking and screaming.

I have to say all of the pictures of change represent me. Except number five, right now life is about the release of pain. It won't last but I'm enjoying every pain free moment.

You make it sound so easy. I wish it was.
Acceptance I am working on. And sometimes the goal DOES have to be changed. And that is ok too.

Glad the story you two are writing is coming together.
I think I relate most to the second one.

Plan?
What plan?
There was supposed to be a plan?

I like #4. :) Change can be a good thing!

Hello you sexy bombshell..... CHANGE.. Please don't... WE LOVE YOU the way you are!

BUT THRILLED to hear about your collaboration with Liz... LOVE YOU LADIES!

Sounds like a definite to read!

I am a big CHANGE lover. Reinvented/lived Many lives so far and have quite a few more to go... in running shorts of course!

I can honestly say all have applied to me.... all those lives certainly give one many experiences.... But for now #2 and #4 top the list... I need patience for things to get better and they are SLOWLY.... I may have to change my plan for my second novel. Time will tell!

Always happy to visit your blog kid~

Oh change, Yes. I think I'm a combination of numbers (I break rules), but things have changed for the better, they were brought about by pain, and the only thing I can do is make peace with a past that didn't go any of the ways I wanted. Which leaves me hoping that even if my past didn't go the wanted, maybe it set me up to greet my future well prepared and armed properly.

Woohoo on figuring out your plot spin!

I think #3 applies the most to me. I changed my hair color last weekend and it makes me happy. How do other people feel about it? I don't know. And I don't care. I like having bright blue hair.

Well, I've got Bowie firmly lodged in my head now - that's a change since reading this post :-) I'm in pre-change at the moment - not major things, just September/autumn things.

How exciting about the fresh spin! It's always so much fun when that happens... :)

As for the pics, I can relate to #1 the most at the moment. Past memories have been making me panic lately. I'd love to just forget those things, but it's not possible...

I think #3 applies the most right now!

Hey you are on Whidbey Island? I lived in Pierce County for 12 years. I do miss it there. Not the traffic, but the scenery and climate.

Three and four right now! Thanks for the reminders! I love Elizabeth too!
