the ANTI-BLOGFEST-HOP-RUN-LEAP of GARY!

(SING OUT LOUD TO THE TUNE OF "IT'S A SMALL WORLD")

IT'S A BLOGFEST AFTER ALL!
IT'S A BLOGFEST AFTER ALL!
IT'S A BLOGFEST AFTER ALL!
IT'S A BLOG-BLOG-FEST!!
My infamous friend, Gar-bare, has become the blogging Debbie Downer of blogfests & hops with his sniveling antics towards them.
So, Mark, Morgs, Alex, Tina, and Robyn made us this fun BLOGFEST in honor of Gar-bare.

Make up 3 Blogfests you'd never ever, for the love of Gar-bare, join!
And here are my 3 sniveling antics blogfests:

1.  I ALMOST MADE IT - IT'S OKAY TO BE #2
This blogfest would be really CRAPPY to join. The feel of it gets me down in the DUMPs. I'd almost rather go DROP LOGS at a wood factory. Being #2 & basking in it- STINKS. But I'll light a match in it's honor.
2. BETTER OR WORSE - STAR WARS OR STAR TREK?
This is just asking for WWintergalactic1 to commence. I mean really. There would be phasers, sabers, bad one-liners as comebacks, and the real actors shaking their heads as they swim at Naboo drinking glowing margaritas made off the USS Enterprise.
3. AMSTERDAM: IS IT WORTH THE TRIP?
I'm sure it'd help WEED out some DOPE spots. Maybe a lot of cafes for when tourists get the MUNCHIES. The list may include visiting popular socialites such as M.J. or ROACH. But I hear they're rather BLUNT, so maybe just visiting the POTtery kilns is better. Overall, it's just not for me...

WHICH ONE ARE YOU FOR SURE NOT JOINING??

It would be messy, but I'd sign up for the second one! (And awesome image you chose for it.)

Oh I can't believe it!!!

I swear this is true... I'm *going* to Amsterdam in a month, so you *know* I would be #1 on *that* Linky :)

PS.. I did live in the 'burbs of Amsterdam for three years... way back when Milli Vanilli sang like A-Rod plays baseball, so the whole Café thing is over-rated, unless it's your thing... and well, if it's your thing... you won't remember much :)

But my pals MARY JANE and BUD rave about Amsterdam all the time! I have to JOINT that blogfest or they'd be disappointed.

Was #3 a blog about Amsterdam or about puns? Loved them. You sparked up a chuckle in me.

Great non-fests!

LOL. Love #2. What you say is so true, but it'd be SO entertaining to watch the battle! :D

Here are mine!

Back in the day I would be all over Blogfest number three. I'm having flashbacks just thinking about it.

I may have to give each of those a run, especially the second one

Teehee, number 3 was especially funny. I couldn't join it, though, because I don't even like to smell other people's cigarette smoke; I always pretend that I'm gasping for air when they light up.

Tammy Theriault said...

THANKS EVERYONE FOR NOT JOINING THEM!

Tina said...

OMG, the Star Wars/Star Trek thing is BRILLIANT. I'd sign up. And defend them both! Like Alex said, you picked a perfect picture for that one!

You are all kinds of brilliant. :D

After looking at 2 and 3, #1 might not be so bad, after all. :)

Hilary Melton-Butcher said...

Hi Tammy .. being no 2, at times, wouldn't be so bad .. but I'd rather be first ..

Number two leaves me stone cold!

There must be parts of Amsterdam that are beautiful .. do I need to go to the other bits ..

Fun choices .. but I'll pass them all .. cheers Hilary

don't get me started on the second... my life is Star Trek/Wars... I hear the theme now...

Your Amsterdam one is really funny. What a different blog hop. I've enjoyed all the posts I've seen.

Nice way to scare of off. Definitely staying out of the Star Wars/Trek debate.

Those first two pictures are hilarious, and sadly hold the truth. Nobody ever remembers the second place winner.

You always make me laugh, Tammy. Thank you, and thanks for joining this Gary Party.

Heh, very clever stuff, Tammy....loved your hops. #2 seems to be #1, though :D

1st one would be so depressing D:

#1 sounds like something I could do.

Funny stuff, which is why I nominated you for an award.

Pretty clever advertisement for Amsterdam. I'm in! :B

Susan Flett Swiderski said...

WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT US???

You totally outdid yourself. I love the pics, the ideas, and the puns. (Doesn't mean I'd sign up for any of 'em, though.)

Trisha F said...

I went to Amsterdam in 2004 and didn't find any of those cafés ;)

I'd be crap at #2 because I have only ever seen Star Wars, except a tiny bit of Trek but not enough to judge by.

Love the first one ;)

Donna Hole said...

I went through Amsterdam on a tour bus, and followed the advice of the guide to NOT GET OFF THE BUS. I'm starting to think California is getting just as bad though :(

This first one hands down. LOL!

So funny, Tammy! I actually wouldn't mind the 2nd one...

(Easiest blog-hop in the world and I totally forgot about it. *sigh*)

Okay Tammy,

Here's the deal. I arrive and you smile with joyous glee! Yay!

Of course, I would never imply that those who make up all those blogfests or whatever, are just trying to draw attention to themselves and gather more followers. That would be just so cynical of me.

Your first non-choice has reached the bottom.

Your second non-choice makes me think of Battlestar Galactica.

Your third choice makes me realise that Vancouver, Canada is a lot closer for you than Amsterdam. *cough!* *cough!*.

Thanks for the irony, Tam-bare.

You're very welcome for my comment.

And oh yeah, great post! Thanks for sharing!

Gary :)

Tammy, I'm totally jealous of your wit. Seriously. If I could be half as clever as you...

Too funny! :-)

Though I really enjoyed my visit to Amsterdam, I do appreciate your Gary style pun fest! I was too innocent to partake in any of those activities, but I did get a brief glimpse of the Red Light District. A very entertaining list Tammy!

I can't decide which is better. Then again, I may have done #3, but just don't remember... ;)

Number 1 is the one I wouldn't join for sure. Number 3 is almost like where I live...

Good choices for the blogfest!
